Oh, cruel gods of this world! You let the lowly worm hold dreams of color and flight as it looks up at the butterfly. You gave the monkey the elusive reflection of the moon trapped on the surface of water so that it may clutch and yearn eternally. Oh, how cruel you are, and how heartless your gift – perfection!
Kashiwazaki Sena has a long list of complaints for those willing to listen, but the top of the list is the lack of people she could consider her equals. Who could ever match her captivating looks, bright mind, graceful movements, sweet voice, sharp fashion sense... or modest personality? Gracious as she may be to the common folk gathering around her, the divide between Sena and her admirers seems impossible to overcome. The top of the world can sometimes even feel... lonely.
Perfection can also become a compulsion, making it difficult for Sena to let go and treat some things with reasonable distance. She has no interest whatsoever in the vulgar pastimes her fellow club members seem to enjoy... but she will 'research' those forms of entertainment as long as necessary to become the best one in the group anyway. Any form of resistance or competition just serves to entice her further.
Sena's personality makes it easy for her to gather devout followers, but is nothing more than an obstacle in making true friends. If she hopes to find what she desires most, Sena might need to learn how to accept a compromise in life.
